Tours start from a parking lot near the Fields Corner T Station

mydottour My Dot Tour is a multimedia, youth-led walking tour of Fields Corner in Dorchester that presents a narrative of the past, the present and the future of this diverse and exciting neighborhood.

Theatrical in nature, a series of tour performances aims to enrich public life and foster youth leadership in Dorchester, celebrate the recent history and current amenities of Fields Corner, and provide a platform for sharing ideas about future improvements. Tours feature select notable sites identified and researched by area teens with help from archives, residents, and local institutions.

Dorchester, first established as a town in 1630, then annexed to the City of Boston, has been developing its story for almost 400 years. With My Dot, experience the extensive history of Fields Corner, including ancient jail cells for moonshine producers, rebellious tanners in the Field family, and the world's best concert hall. Then, uncover history in the making through local foods, Buddhist relics, and community centers with a history of making a difference. Finally, hear about what the Tour's seven local youth guides envision for the area's future. Leave a comment about your experiences in Fields Corner too!
