Why does some water taste so good? Why don't we wash away when it rains? How much water flows down the Deerfield River? How much water does it take to make a plastic water bottle? What rivers, oceans, lakes do you love? How much water do we use, need and waste? How are we held together if we are mostly water? We have all teh water we are ever going to get. How do we protect it? Is water endangered? How many people live without access to potable water? How does water connect us to place? How do we stand up?

All work related to the theme will be included.

This project is co-facilitated by The Art Garden’s director Jane Beatrice Wegscheider and celebration artist Phyllis Labanowski. The questions above are meant to inspire even more questions & ideas & images & conversations & poetry, prose, drawing, painting, mixed media, photography, music, stories, & & that we hope you will share through this exhibit. Participation is free and open to all ages.
